What is car detailing?
Car detailing is a comprehensive and meticulous cleaning and restoration process designed to enhance the appearance of a vehicle both inside and out. It involves cleaning, polishing, and protecting various surfaces to achieve a high level of cleanliness and shine.

What's the difference between car detailing and car washing?
While both car detailing and car washing involve cleaning a vehicle, they differ significantly in terms of scope and level of attention to detail. Car washing usually focuses on removing dirt and grime from the exterior surfaces, often using automated systems. Car detailing, on the other hand, involves a thorough cleaning of both the interior and exterior, along with processes like waxing, polishing, and restoring the vehicle's surfaces to a like-new condition.
Can you clean my car at work or while I’m not home?
Yes. As long as we have safe, legal access to the vehicle, we can complete the service while you’re at work, traveling, or relaxing inside. Remote workdays? Even better.
Do I need to prepare my vehicle in any way?
No special prep is needed. We do recommend removing valuables and ensuring the car is accessible at the time of service.
What if the weather changes or it rains?
We monitor weather forecasts closely. If needed, we’ll reach out to reschedule your appointment with priority booking.
How often should I get my car detailed?
We recommend a full detail every 3 months, and ceramic or wax protection every 4–6 months to maintain the appearance and value of your vehicle.
Are your products safe for kids and pets?
Yes. We use pH-balanced, non-toxic, eco-friendly products safe for children, pets, and high-end interiors like leather, Alcantara, and suede.
Can I give a slix detail as a gift?
Absolutely. We offer digital gift certificates—perfect for holidays, birthdays, new car owners, or anyone who deserves a luxury clean.

Do I need to provide water or electricity?
No. Our detailing units are fully self-contained with water, power, and all tools necessary. Just unlock the vehicle and we’ll take care of the rest.
What’s the difference between wax and ceramic spray coating?
Wax provides a short-term shine and protection lasting a few weeks. Our ceramic spray coating offers 6+ months of hydrophobic protection, UV resistance, and enhanced gloss.
What types of vehicles do you detail?
From luxury sedans, Teslas, exotics, and lifted trucks to classics and daily drivers, we service all vehicle types. We also detail fleets, motorcycles, and high-end EVs.
What’s included in a detail?
All packages include exterior wash, tire and wheel cleaning, interior vacuuming, wipe-downs, glass cleaning, and dressing. Premium packages include clay bar, shampooing, leather conditioning, odor elimination, and ceramic protection.
How long does a detail take?
Express details typically take 45–60 minutes. Signature or Elite services may range from 2 to 3 hours, depending on the vehicle size and services selected.
Can you remove smoke, pet, or other odors?
Yes. We use enzyme-based neutralizers, ozone treatment, and steam cleaning to eliminate odors—not just mask them.
Do you clean child car seats or booster seats?
We do. We vacuum, steam clean, and disinfect child seats using non-toxic, baby-safe products.
Can I book more than one vehicle at once?
Yes. We detail multiple vehicles at homes, offices, and events. Book back-to-back or ask us about multi-vehicle pricing.
